Abstract

Recently, there have been significant advancements in renal biochemistry, which have substantially enhanced our understanding of kidney function and pathology. This chapter discusses the analysis of large amounts of data and the application of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) in renal disease prediction, diagnosis and treatemnt. Utilizing data-driven insights to revolutionize clinical decision-making, enhances patient outcomes, and create innovations that shape the future of renal care and holds immense promise in the healthcare industry Additionally, this chapter discusses the potential applications of ML and AI-enabled wearable devices, smart phones and point-of-care testing in personalized and regenerative medicine, as well as the challenges that must be overcome to integrate these technologies successfully in clinical settings. It is projected that the management of renal diseases will witness significant improvements due to technological advancements and the development of individualized treatment regimens.
