Abstract

Chemiluminescent assays (CLA) are pivotal in modern immunological and serological diagnostics, offering high sensitivity, specificity, and rapid results. This chapter reviews their broad applications, highlighting their significance in enhancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Despite some challenges, such as high costs and technical complexities, ongoing advancements promise to improve CLA's performance further and reduce costs. These innovations will strengthen CLA's role in future clinical diagnostics, providing significant diagnostic accuracy and efficiency benefits.
