title = "Car Accident Detection and Response System",
abstract = "The use of automobiles for movement to and from is typically an everyday need in modern day life. For developing countries where automobiles are not very well-managed and road signs and regulations are not very well adhered to, statistics of car accidents casualties are usually quite scary. Numerous initiatives have been deployed to enforce safety regulations while also repairing and modernizing the roadways. These measures have proven useful, but the rate of accidents keeps increasing. This car accident detection and response system was developed to serve as the interface to managing and controlling these kinds of problems at randomly chosen pedestrian crossings in the city of Accra where the rate of automobile accidents and emergency response times are a big concern. The system developed is a Web application that is synchronized with a mobile application to form a seamless communication module to improve on the alert system for it to be as ubiquitous as possible by way of data and information access. The testing of the system produced the results expected with a minuscule level of errors.",
