Abstract

The previous chapter delved into the integration of AI in the music industry through the lens of Diana Hopeson, a renowned gospel artist and music publisher, utilizing the Motivation-Opportunity-Ability (MOA) framework. This chapter continues the exploration by focusing on another key stakeholder in the music industry: a music producer. It presents a case study of Stanley Dartey, also known as Paq, a versatile music producer and artist from Accra, Ghana. The chapter examines his journey of integrating AI tools into his music production process, highlighting how these technologies enhance efficiency while preserving the emotional depth and authenticity of his work. It further analyzes Paq’s approach using the MOA framework, illustrating the practical application of these theories and the balance between maintaining artistic integrity and leveraging technological advancements.
