Abstract

The previous chapter provided a detailed research framework and methodology for studying AI’s impact on the music industry, utilizing the Motivation-Opportunity-Ability (MOA) framework. This chapter builds on that foundation by presenting a case study of Diana Hopeson, a renowned gospel artist and music publisher. It delves into her journey of integrating AI tools into her operations, highlighting her motivations, experiences, and the broader implications of AI in her work. The chapter further analyzes Diana’s approach using the MOA framework, illustrating the practical application of these theories and the balance between maintaining artistic integrity and leveraging technological advancements.
